How to get here
By Plane: There are numerous flights from the main cities of Brazil that will take you to the Airport of Ilhéus, the nearest to Itacaré. At the airport, you can either take a taxi or rent a car to drive along the BA-001 highway which connects Ilhéus and Itacaré (70 km).
By Car: Coming from the South, you can go via the BR101 or the BR116 until Itabuna, and then drive to Ilhéus on the BA-001 as far as Itacaré. Coming from the North you can take the BR101 until Uruçuca, continue on the asphalt road as far as Ilhéus, and then go along the BA-001 until you get to Itacaré.
By Car: Coming from the South, you can go via the BR101 or the BR116 until Itabuna, and then drive to Ilhéus on the BA-001 as far as Itacaré.
